Four year old Abdul’s mother makes her living by selling cheap trinkets outside Xavier’s Institute of Communication, Mumbai. For her, every morning brings with it a new challenge, but for Abdul,  the day is all about scampering around , playing with his prized blocks and basking in the limelight- he loves the camera and the camera loves him. He is too small for school and the possibility of it even happening is bleak. As the sun goes down, the little boy sleeps, blissfully unaware of the dismal reality of his life. He rises again with the sun, a twinkle in his eyes, a smile on his lips, eager to embrace the thrills and joys of yet another day.
